Today Chaplain (Capt.) Emil Kapaun was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor posthumously for his extraordinary sacrifices during the Korean War. In November of 1950, his unrelenting remarkable acts of bravery under direct fire were reinforced through his daily acts of religious faith. He is but one of thousands upon thousands who have paid the ultimate price for America.
